Use 12 New Times Roman or Arial font with 1” margins. Single-space the summary. List the article as a citation in APA format and then include your two-page summary beneath.
Directions for the Two-Page Summary of a Research Article
Evaluate the study and its contribution to the literature. USE THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS AS HEADINGS! for each part of the assignment:
What was the research question/hypothesis?
What was the population studied?
What were the methods utilized in conducting this study?
How was the data analyzed?e.What were the results?
What were the conclusions related to the results?
What were the study limitations? These should be included as part of your critique of the study
What is the practical application of this article to psychosocial wellness?
How would you use what they found in your future vocation or real life application?
Do not plagiarize! Also, do not turn in previously submitted material from any class. The point of this exercise is for you to be able to briefly summarize an article in your own words. Provide a critique of the study by including the limitations of the study. Conclude the summary by explaining how you could use what the authors found in real life application. Be mindful of spelling and grammar and use complete sentences. A grade of a ‘B’ is the highest grade that can be achieved if there are spelling, grammar, or other writing mistakes.
